Mechanical Banks are highly collected but rarely are they used as banks. Most people just appreciate the simplicity of the mechanical movements as the coin is deposited.
The magician may make the coin dissappear, the coin may be shot out of cannon, or one of many other adventures awaits the coin deposited into one of these old Mechanical Banks.
